AbsoluteTrack+ Asset Tracking Management

The Challenge

With the ever-growing reliance on remote and mobile computers in the education environment, educators are faced with the challenge of how to keep those assets secure and monitored. More and more schools across North America are turning to laptops as an everyday learning tool in an effort to yield better results in the classroom.

Many schools are promoting distance-learning education to accommodate remote students and are encouraging mobile computing in order to create stronger teamwork environments. Student records, personal information, proprietary and in many cases, confidential research data are no longer kept solely in one secure location. It is important to keep this information and the systems that hold it secure, but education IT managers struggle to find a solution that meets their changing needs and budget.
